Credits, history, and payment (Stripe)

Capture d’écran à insérer
Credits screen or checkout preview.

Credits mainly fund AI scan analysis. Purchases go through Stripe Checkout (hosted payment page).

How do I buy credits?

From the credits section:

  1. Choose a pack that fits your needs.
  2. Confirm: you are redirected to Stripe to enter card details.
  3. After a successful payment, return to the app; balance updates when the server confirms.

How many credits at signup? What are the paid packs?

On signup: 5 free credits to try in-app scans.

Store review reward: up to 5 more credits after the team validates your review.

Paid packs (Stripe): 20 credits for €10 (list €15) and 60 credits for €25 (list €45), app launch promotion.

Can I cancel a payment?

If you close or cancel on Stripe, no charge is made for that attempt.

You return to the app without crediting the account.

Are credit packs a subscription?

No. Credit packs are one-time purchases: you pay once per pack and tokens are added to your balance.

What is the MCP subscription?

Separately from credits, VinoCellar offers an optional MCP subscription at €3.99/month (no commitment, cancel anytime). For the app launch, checkout runs at the promotional €2.99/month. It unlocks unlimited use of the MCP server so AI assistants (Claude today; ChatGPT and Gemini planned) can query and update your cellar without consuming scan credits.

Subscribe from the app when available in your account flow; see the “MCP server” FAQ topic for setup and benefits.

Where is credit history?

The same section lists movements on your balance.

  • Purchases packs paid via Stripe.
  • Bonuses or possible adjustments per service rules.

What is the “review” reward?

A flow lets you request credits in exchange for a user review.

  • Validation the request may stay pending until manually handled by the team.
  • Rules shown in the app when you submit.

Where are legal terms for payments explained?

Terms and privacy policy describe the framework (data, service).

For a specific contract question, combine those documents and support.
