Scanning uses credits when AI analysis runs; a balance indicator is visible on the screen.
How do I start a scan?
From the scan tab:
- Photograph the label with the camera or pick an image from the gallery.
- Use front / back tabs if you need to frame both sides separately.
- Turn on the flashlight in low light if needed.
What happens after I take the photo?
Before or after sending, you can set provenance (purchase, gift…) and cellar placement (bin).
- Server processing images are analyzed on the server.
- Queue shows in-progress batches; a banner may prompt you to open it.
Where do I see progress and results?
Each scan batch has its own results screen.
- Steps track processing in progress.
- Bottles recognized or pending manual validation.
- Links to created or updated records.
From results you usually return to the list or cellar grid.
What is the scan queue screen for?
It groups recent or in-flight uploads.
- Visibility see what is still being analyzed.
- Comfort avoid staying stuck on the camera screen.
